River//Cities Network is committed to promoting sustainable urban development by advocating for the guardianship of water’s vital ecosystems.
Empowering local communities to safeguard their rivers is central to this mission, ensuring waterways thrive for generations to come.
We will do this by consolidating our experience as a leading European reference for culture-based sustainable regeneration of urban waterfronts.
We aim to promote this holistic approach internationally while offering valuable data, knowledge, and expertise to stakeholders and members so that they are empowered to act at local level and shape the future of sustainable urban regeneration.
The River Cities Network is established as an NGO registered in Austria at the following address:
River//Cities Platform Verein zur Förderung und Vernetzung von Kulturaktivitäten am Wasser,
Lydia Sicher Gasse 5/3/12,
1220 Wien (AUT)
All our members are experts in different fields, with an extensive knowledge in their areas of expertise or a study. We are more than happy to share our knowledge to: help you with a waterfront project, run a workshop, or attend a conference as a guest speaker.
The Network has a core Board but the vision, mission and direction of the network is the responsibility of the Advisory Board who meet quarterly and have an overview of all aspects of the functioning of the Network.
