In October 2020, five Stockholm based artists were researching the post-industrial cultural heritage on waterfronts between Norra Hammarby, Tegelvikshamnen and Stadsgården which were undergoing a transformation process. By doing silent walks, raising questions and travelling back in history, they explored these areas from an artistic point of view developing individual creative projects. The results were presented on multiple nearby sites of the Fåfängan area and included walking acts, sound, photography and film. The event started with a gathering by the Wallrite Building (Tegelviksslingan 20) where the artists briefly introduced their projects followed by the artistic interventions. The audience had the possibility to freely move around and discovered the different performances and artworks. This event was part of the project “I_Improve” and “Connecting Georgia” which connected artists in Batumi and Stockholm under the theme of exploring the post-industrial heritage in cities situated by water.
