Beyond the crisis

if we were asked to define the theme of the changemaker now, we would choose the whole city, instead of the area of the Arsenale, and how we would imagine Venice after the CV19 crisis.

In fact, this sanitary crisis has revealed not only the limits but also the potential of a city made for meeting and relationships, to be crossed slowly by boat in the silence of the oars, or on foot listening to the sound of your own footsteps. Venice during the lockdown was similar to years ago, with clear and calm waters, inhabited by citizens where tourists were still recognizable, emerging in the largest local community. Not to be nostalgic, but we would like to rebuild it today together with the resilient community of citizens and its lovers.
