Arctic Art Forum, 23-25 November, Arkhangelsk, Russia.

Arctic Art Forum is a gathering place for artists, designers, architects, performers, experimental musicians, where the unique heritage of the Russian Arctic is being found again.
During the event, participants from Russia, Norway, Finland, and Sweden will  meet to discuss the common challenges that arise when traditional and contemporary culture meet.
"Challenges between the local and the global, between so-called low and high culture, between the gallery and public spaces in order to expand and question existing psychological and geographical borders."
One of the main seminars of the Forum is titled the Wood is Cool, its aim is to raise the awareness of  value of historical Arkhangelsk and its wooden buildings.
Intercult Sweden, River//Cities partner is attending Arctic Art Forum 2018 edition.
