On Friday, October 9th, 2020, our Viennese partner made the Leopoldstadt district of Vienna a bit more colorful! Together with local councilor Astrid Rompolt and district chairman Alexander Nikolai, we picked up the paintbrush and redesigned 20 benches and 2 tables.
With many artists and neighbors, we have created what is probably the largest rainbow in the world with park benches. From the Aspern Bridge to the Franzensbrücke, there are, in addition to the beautifully painted individual works of art on benches, six benches in the colors of the rainbow.
Leopoldstadt and we at BenchMarking - Colors of Love stand for diversity and tolerance and we want to express that artistically.
We are very happy about the participation of the Viennese artists Urania Kaldis, Brigitte Mickl-Brunner, Julia Maurer, Maria Springer and Barbara Doppler.
Thanks to everyone who was there, you made the Danube Canal more beautiful and colorful! Your inspiration and your ideas are in every bank! You are now part of Leopoldstadt!
Love Rules!
