Museum of Water opening and Perth Festival (UK) 10th February - 04 March 2019
Amy has began the Museum of Water in 2013, which was then a collection of publicly donated samples of water and accompanying stories.
In 2014, Museum of Water was awarded Best Temporary Exhibition in the Museum Oskars, and awarded a Special Commendation, Nick Reeves Award for Arts, Water and the Environment. You can read more about Amy's projects and Museum's development here.
During the festival the audience will be able to join free workshops, sensory walking tours, panel conversations and Sunday music from the Reunion Islands, Ghana and Kenya.
There will also be a chance to build water crafts, learn how to have a 3 minute shower, trace the former shorelines of Walyalup, make your own distilling system for fresh water, try dancing in water with Rio Olympic synchronized swimmers or distilling the Festival's smell.
Everything will be of course Water related!
