Jamm'Europe: online on 5 July 2017
Jamm’Europe, is an ephemeral online platform, an open space to discuss what role culture and the arts can play in the future of Europe.
This spring, Juncker commission published the white paper on the Future of Europe presenting five possible scenarios for the EU’s future. As a result, Culture Action Europe (CAE) initiated discussion process among cultural operators to contribute to a vision guiding us into a sustainable future of the European project. A joint manifesto, drafted by Culture Action Europe and opened for endorsements will be the final result of this reflection exercise.
CAE has already consulted their members, partners and friends during the CAE hub meetings in Croatia, UK, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Sweden, Hungary and France. Now they want to open up the discussion to the wider public.
Register for the online debate at www.jammart.eu
Stay online on the 5th of July, from 14:00 till 21:00 (CET).
There four kick-of discussion questions:
1. Liberté, égalité, fraternité? Let’s talk values
2. Citizens, creators or consumers: how can culture sustain the EU?
3. Creative or vulnerable: can culture drive positive globalisation?
4. Cooperate or corporate: Can we offer alternatives for economic development & the future of work?
