The Baltic House Lab 2015, 4-27 September 2015, Gdańsk, Poland
The Baltic House Lab 2015 is an international cultural project consisting of the exhibition and accompanying interdisciplinary events. The main exhibition is arranged in St. John’s Centre displays works of Polish artists togther artists from the Baltic Sea Countries. The accompanying events are planned next to water-tram stops in Gdańsk.
The exhibition “The Baltic House Lab 2015" with the accompanying program oscillates around “vulnerability” interpreted in context of areas relating to the Baltic Sea and the countries in its basin. Drawing from rich tradition of Gdańsk the event's organisers will most of all, turn to water, on the one hand to the Baltic Sea, on the other to Motława river. By emphasising the relationship of the city to the water, they will try to bring it closer to the hearts and minds of Gdansk inhabitants. Furthermore the public space on the waterfronts will be used as a specific laboratory, where we carry on a number of artistic experiments and debates
